Following in the footsteps of Annroai Ó Liathain, using his book Cois Móire as a guide, Diarmuid Ó Drisceoil will travel the river Blackwater, the spine of Munster, from its source in Kerry to the sea in Youghal. The river depicts Irelands history and the treasures of this rich environment – characters and chronicles, historic buildings, artistic endeavours and modern communities – reflecting Ireland in all its triumph and tragedy, war and worship, meeting people along the way who are moulded by this river, River Blackwater, Cois Móire.
